Position Overview

We are seeking skilled and dependable Welders to join a growing manufacturing team in Joplin, MO. This role is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using a variety of welding techniques while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity.

The ideal Welder has experience in a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce quality welds while working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.


Required Experience & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (entry-level candidates may be considered)
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Ability to read measuring tools accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work overtime and varying shifts as needed
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on a variety of metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production work orders
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials and tooling
• Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met
• Operate grinders, cutting tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA standards, and production requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS or equivalent welding certifications
• Experience with metal fabrication and finishing processes
• Familiarity with industrial manufacturing operations
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat and noise
• Required use of PPE at all times while on the production floor
