Job description

Position Summary:
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for assisting in all activities related to apartment leasing and resident relations. This includes generating traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation, and providing outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents.
Key Responsibilities: Leasing and Sales
  • Greet and build rapport with prospective residents.
  • Conduct tours of the community, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Follow up with prospects and maintain communication through the sales cycle.
  • Accurately complete lease applications, screening, and lease documents.

Marketing and Outreach
  • Assist with outreach marketing efforts to attract potential residents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date online listings and advertising.
  • Participate in community events or marketing initiatives as directed.

Resident Relations
  • Support new resident move-in process to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Assist with renewals and promote resident retention initiatives.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns or service requests.
  • Promote a sense of community through positive interactions and involvement in resident events.

Administrative
  • Maintain organized leasing files and documentation in accordance with company policy.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and property management software is a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to tour the community and walk the property regularly.
