Job Detail:

Position: Financial Business Analyst

Location: Highlands Ranch - CO

Duration: 3 month


Job Description:

Must have strong Excel skills, including pivot tables 

Must have experience working with databased as worker will need to utilize the following internal Databases - Customer Knowledge Base (CKB) CAMEO system, BAR system 

Data Entry, Financial Analysis, Management Reporting, Advanced Excel User 

On a daily basis, track all orders sent out to vendors for e-Auction. Using pre-established guidelines, analyse each bid received from third party providers and determine which orders should be redirected. Work with Provisioning and Finance to redirect viable bids. Resolve any outstanding issues with appropriate groups. Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates on success of this effort. 


Key steps: 

Compile daily intercept report in to master Excel spreadsheet. 

Ensure vendor costs as found on Rate Card are populated correctly on spreadsheet. 

Review and analyse all bids received from third party vendors in a timely manner. 

Engage Contract Manager or Third Party vendor for bid clarification as necessary. 

Using agreed upon criteria, determine which bids should be evaluated further. 

Send qualified bids via email to provisioning contact for review. 

If approved by provisioning, send required information via email to Finance contact for loading of address in master costing database. 

Once loaded, be certain that provisioning cancels the initial order in a timely manner and submits the new order to the Third Party vendor. 

Track all activity on the Excel spreadsheet. 

Provide regular management reporting. 


Requirements: 

Strong Excel skills, including pivot/graphing/filters/basic formulas 

Excellent attention to detail with ability to multi-task 

Strong verbal and written communication skills 

Ability to use MS Outlook 

PowerPoint skills a plus but not required 

Telecom knowledge helpful, but not required 

BA degree desired, not required, could be working towards degree if have all other required skills 

Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in advanced Excel and financial analysis 

Possible position for a new college graduate, upcoming graduate, or more seasoned employee with appropriate skill set.
