Description

SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to be onsite approximately 3 days a week.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for providing engineering, modeling and analysis support for prime contractor led design and development of missile and guidance electrical subsystems and sub-assemblies for the Fleet Ballistic Missile D5 Life Extension 2 (D5LE2) program. 

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The selected candidate will support electrical modeling and simulation of modern package configurations and interconnects under consideration for the D5LE2 program. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 3 or more year of experience
  • Understanding of the systems engineering process
  • Understanding of requirements and architecture development/generation
  • Electrical modeling and analysis using tools such as Multisim, PSpice, and MATLAB for circuit analysis and data processing
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Interim secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Understanding of systems engineering technical review (SETR) entrance and exit criteria and associated data products
