About the Job
Position Summary:
The Administrative Coordinator Assistant supports the business operations of Centurion Surgery Center by assisting with multiple functions including but not limited to invoice creation and posting, medical records coordination, and IPG account assistance. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Excel, and who can accurately manage financial and clinical data necessary for timely and accurate requests and posting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Post insurance payments and collections accurately from insurance carriers.
  • Assist with preparing and reconciling final invoices.
  • Gather, review, and verify all required clinical and demographic data needed to build and submit clean claims to IPG and RFI.
  • Support the medical records process, including organizing, retrieving, and maintaining electronic medical records request.
  • Assist with claim follow-up and documentation as needed to support reimbursement with IPG, RFI and attorney cases.
  • Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, including billing, clinical staff, and management.
  • Ensure compliance with Centurion Surgery Center policies, payer requirements, and confidentiality regulations (HIPAA).
  • Perform other administrative and business office duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Prior experience in a healthcare business office, ambulatory surgery center, or medical billing environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, tracking, basic reporting).
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or relevant healthcare/business experience preferred.
