The Gold 'N Silver is Reno's oldest casual dining restaurant and has been a Reno landmark for over 60 years. The property has gone under a restoration and renovation that includes a neighborhood bar and updated dining room that will be a downtown Reno highlight for the next 60 years.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead and coordinate staff during shifts
  • Manage staffing levels, breaks, and floor plans
  • Resolve gust issues and document incidents
  • Enforce safety, alcohol service, and labor compliance
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance guidance
  • Smooth, efficient shift execution
  • Team accountability and compliance adherence
  • Shift-level food and alcohol safety ownership
  • Direct enforcement of policies and standards
  • Active managerial control in front-of-house areas
  • Monitoring sanitation, hygiene, and food handling practices
  • Alcohol compliance oversight and enforcement
  • Incident documentation and corrective actions

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of labor and safety standards
  • High School Graduate with the below listed experience or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Computer skills - word and (excel would be helpful)
  • Management experience in food and beverage operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated financial and operational aptitude
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification (required)
