To thrive as an Entertainment Director, you need a background in event planning, production management, and a deep understanding of audience engagement, often supported by a degree in hospitality, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with audiovisual equipment, event management software (like Eventbrite or Bizzabo), and budgeting tools is essential.
