Job Summary:
Sierra is creating a platform to enhance customer experiences with AI. The Software Engineer will build foundational systems for enterprise capabilities, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance for enterprise customers.
Responsibilities:
• Build Sierra’s enterprise platform capabilities.
• You’ll design and build the foundational systems and capabilities that enable Sierra to serve the world’s largest and most demanding enterprises.
• This includes the identity, access management, integration points, and extensibility that enterprise customers require to allow customers to embed Sierra into their existing ecosystems.
• Scale with our largest customers.
• Our enterprise customers have complex environments, strict security requirements, and high expectations for reliability.
• You’ll ensure Sierra’s platform scales across organizations, regions, and use cases while maintaining performance and simplicity.
• Form the foundation of trust.
• Enterprise customers trust Sierra with their most sensitive workflows and data.
• You’ll help set and uphold a high bar for security, compliance readiness, reliability, and operational excellence across the platform.
Qualifications:
Required:
• A passion for being on the frontier of AI products.
• Pride in building reliable, maintainable, and secure systems that scale.

• 4+ years hands-on experience building production products and systems.

• Experience with integrations, APIs, and working with complex customer environments.
• Backend-leaning full-stack experience building enterprise SaaS applications.
• Security-adjacent experience (e.g., auth, permissions, data isolation, threat modeling).
• Experience building AI-powered products or platforms.
