Job description

Job Description:

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation's largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology medical practices, is seeking a Allergy Nurse for our Madison Avenue office.

The Allergy Nurse role offers an opportunity to work with patients of all ages, encompassing a wide spectrum of care within our vibrant patient community. We offer a supportive work environment aimed at promoting professional growth and teamwork amongst health care providers.

Hourly:

  • LPN - $33.09/hr
  • RN - $40/hr
  • BSN - $42.68/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Administer allergy injections and monitor patients
  • Perform allergy testing (food, environmental, venom, drug and chemical testing)
  • Conduct pulmonary function testing
  • Assist physician with patient care
  • Complete administrative responsibilities including insurance approvals, data entry, restocking clinical supplies
  • Respond to patient calls and messages

Requirements include:

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Competent working with computers

Education / Certification Requirements:

  • Active RN or LPN License (New grads welcome to apply)
  • BLS/CPR certification

Schedule:

  • Monday: 8:00am-6:00pm
  • Tuesday: 7:45am-5:00pm
  • Wednesday: 7:45am-5:00pm
  • Thursday: 8:00am-1:15pm
  • Friday: 8:15am-4:30pm
  • Saturday (when physician has hours): 8:00am - 12:00pm

Please note that the schedule is subject to change based on the Physician's schedule.
