Duties and Responsibilities
The Enrollment Services Coordinator will assist the Director/Assistant Director of Enrollment Services with managing the daily operations of the work within enrollment services and the one stop
• Provide professional and confidential administrative support to the Enrollment Services team. Works closely with the enrollment services leadership team to create and maintain training materials
• Manage the day-to-day operations of Enrollment Services (One Stop) and the work of the enrollment services specialists, including mentoring, training, and coaching the team regarding customer service. Provides leadership to a team of enrollment services specialists and disseminates timely updates and critical information to staff and partners
• Ability to analyze processes and procedures, problem solve and think critically. Recognize common threads in the customer experience and facilitate conversations regarding improvement
• Ensure enrollment services staff are providing consistent, accurate information to enrollment services (one stop) visitors and the university community
• Serve as a higher-level escalation point for dissatisfied visitors and the university community or visitors with complex enrollment circumstances
• Represent enrollment services (one stop) by participating on cross-functional committees, to develop and manage assigned office procedures, training, and data integrity
• Sensitive to cultural diversity and recognizes personal biases to inform appropriate responses to culturally diverse situations, demonstrating a commitment to equity and inclusion, and respectful interactions with persons of diverse ethnic, cultural, socio-economic, and educational backgrounds (ability to communicate and interact effectively with people of all ages and identities)
• Possess beginner to intermediate knowledge of and skills with technology including software programs for communication, data collection, student information systems, and customer relationship management (CRM), including but not limited to PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office/365, Student Financial Planning, ImageNow, Monday.com, Zendesk, Ocelot, QTrac, etc.
• Export reports and evaluate to make data informed decisions about office staffing, recommended changes, and other department initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Education
A Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience
  • Two (2) years prior higher education work experience preferred, specifically within a student services office (e.g., admissions, bursar/student accounts, financial aid, housing, registrar, retention, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, clearly, concisely, and professionally
  • Research and troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to meet expectations in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
  • Highly motivated, focused, and results-oriented
