The position develops, implements, and assesses an integrated strategy spanning recruitment, application, admission, financial aid, registration, onboarding, re-enrollment, retention, and completion. Immediate priorities include increasing enrollment of new, transfer, returning, stopped-out, adult, working, first-generation, commuter, and multilingual students; removing administrative, financial, transportation, technology, scheduling, housing, food-security, and other basic-needs barriers; improving term-to-term and year-to-year persistence; and accelerating completion for students who have earned substantial credits but have not received a credential. Working across Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Institutional Research, Administrative Services, Information Technology, Communications, and other programs, the position establishes shared goals and performance measures, coordinates timely interventions, monitors progress, and elevates unresolved barriers requiring executive action. The position serves as the primary point of contact for the College's participation in University of Hawai'i System enrollment management and student success initiatives and leads special projects assigned by the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs that advance enrollment, completion, equity, and service excellence.

- Works with responsible campus offices to develop foundational enrollment resources, such as shared process maps, contact lists, student checklists, referral procedures, communication calendars, and escalation contacts.
- **Coordinates one or more limited enrollment or re-enrollment pilot projects each academic term, such as outreach to admitted students who have not registered, continuing students who have not enrolled, or students who stopped attending before completing a credential.
- **Assists participating offices in coordinating clear and timely student communications using available email, telephone, text-messaging, social-media, and EAB, and other tools.
- **Works with Institutional Research and other campus offices to establish baseline information and a limited set of practical measures, such as applications, completed applications, registration, continuing-student enrollment, persistence, and credentials awarded.
- Reviews available enrollment and student-success information, shares significant findings with campus stakeholders, and recommends manageable actions or pilot interventions for consideration.
- **Supports the gradual and coordinated use of Navigate360, Salesforce, or other available technologies by helping campus offices clarify purposes, responsibilities, basic workflows, and training needs.
- **Initiates data mining and analyses from multiple platforms and tools, such as banner and STAR to identify systemic barriers, and curates creative solutions in collaboration with appropriate units and departments.
- Supports place-based approaches that recognize Hawai?i as a place of learning and connect enrollment activities, student orientation, academic pathways, workforce needs, and community partnerships to the local context.
- **Documents lessons learned from pilot activities, recommends practical improvements, and assists campus units in incorporating successful practices into their regular operations.
- Provides periodic progress reports to the Chancellor describing completed activities, emerging needs, unresolved barriers, resource considerations, and recommended next steps.
