The Role

The Enrollment Associate will play a key role in supporting students, teachers and academic operations within the organization. There are two positions available at this time, with opportunities to grow within the organization based on experience and interest. This role is remote and flexible but will have a time obligation before and at the start of each semester. Your work will directly affect Felt's ability to provide free education to refugees and displaced peoples.

Essential Duties

  • Monitor registration inbox and communication channels
  • Provide communication and ensure prompt and accurate information regarding programs and classes
  • Track communication and student information
  • Ensure student database and class rosters are up to date and accurate
  • Collaborate with Academic Team, Volunteer Coordinator, and operations volunteers to ensure timely and accurate student enrollment information
  • Manage and adapt enrollment processes as needed to meet student and organizational needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish speaker, competent in Haitian Creole or Arabic also a plus
  • Experience with enrollment processes
  • Experience in education, nonprofits or community organizing
  • An interest in bringing education access to all
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals, compassionate and demonstrates cultural sensitivity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Comfortable functioning independently in a 100% remote environment with distributed teams

Schedule

  • This is a 100% volunteer role
  • Flexible hours with an average of 1-2 hours per week (up to 5 hours per week during busy seasons)
