Engravers carefully carve beautiful symbols and words on wood, metal, or other materials. Many are self-employed and construct personalized projects for their clients, but others may be hired by specialty shops to engrave designs and sayings on to products.

What does an engraver do?

An engraver is a skilled craftsperson who etches or carves designs, text, or images onto various materials such as metal, glass, wood, or plastic. They use specialized tools and techniques to create detailed and lasting markings for items like jewelry, trophies, plaques, and industrial components.
