The Monument Production Operator is a progressive role responsible for the creation and finishing of cemetery monuments, such as headstones and markers. This role requires skill in working with various materials, attention to detail, and proficiency in operating specialized machinery. Progression positions include stencil application, froster, stuff and weed, sandblaster, paint and wash, stencil cutter, fork lift operator, dust collection maintenance, manual blast and shape carving, granite cut down and core and drill operations.

Responsible for the manufacturing, carving, engraving, and finishing of cemetery monuments.
Involves working with stone, marble, granite, and other materials to produce high-quality memorial products according to customer specifications and industry standards.

Machine Operation: Operate machinery used in the production of cemetery monuments, including saws, sandblasters, polishers, and CNC machines.
Engraving and Carving: Perform engraving and carving on monuments using manual and automated tools. Follow detailed designs and layouts.
Material Handling: Load and unload heavy materials such as stone and granite. Ensure proper storage and handling to prevent damage.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality. Ensure that all work meets customer specifications and company standards.
Finishing: Polish and finish monuments to achieve the desired appearance. Apply protective coatings as needed.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
Collaboration: Work with designers, supervisors, and other production staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.


Perform other duties, special projects, assignments, or tasks, as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives
