Job description

Description:

We are seeking an experienced gardener to maintain the appearance of the club's gardens, grounds, and walkways. Responsibilities include planting, trimming, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and other related activities. This role is part of a team dedicated to creating a well-maintained, organized, and safe outdoor environment for members, staff, and guests. Reliable transportation is required to ensure timely arrival for shifts.


PAY: $25.00 - 30.00 USD hourly, full-time, full health benefits, time off, free meals. Pay depends on experience.


WORK HOURS: Full-Time 40 hours


Must have the ability to work in the United States unrestricted.

Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the club's appearance and plan for gardens, grounds, & walkways, and maintaining landscape & garden areas as needed by planting, trimming, fertilizing, mowing, or other activities.
  • Maintain irrigation system(s) to ensure proper watering times, water coverage, and minimize leaks & overspray.
  • All garden maintenance—raking, sweeping, power washing, trimming hedges and vines, and blowing leaves.

SKILLS:

  • This role requires experience as a gardener with knowledge of horticulture & skill in the performance of a wide variety of gardening tasks.
  • Skilled in operating electric tools; operating gas-operated gardening, landscaping, construction & plumbing.
  • Knowledge of water irrigation systems, including overall operation & repair.
  • Landscaping methods & proper use of chemicals, fertilizers, & pesticides.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a Gardener, one or two years of related gardening experience in a similar role.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent oral & written communication proficiency in English.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The position has frequent kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, walking, twisting, reaching, pushing, &
  • Working conditions are primarily outside, with exposure to temperature variations, occasional exposure to
  • insects, insect & animal bites, poisonous plants, & hazardous chemicals
  • Frequent lifting of 50-100 lbs.

PAY: $25.00 - 30.00 USD hourly, full-time, full health benefits, time off, free meals. Pay depends on experience.
