What skills and qualifications are needed for English editing?

To excel in English Editing, you need excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and style, often supported by a degree in English, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with editing tools such as Microsoft Word's Track Changes, style guides like APA or Chicago, and sometimes specialized editing software is essential.
