Job description

We’re looking for a Civil Engineering Designer with 2 to 5 years’ experience in Civil site design and plan preparation to join our team full time in both of our Georgia offices. This is an in-office position only—no remote work.

This role is a great fit for someone in the early stages of their career or wishing to advance their career, who wants hands-on experience working on real civil engineering projects, both in the office and in the field.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing civil engineering plans and drawings
  • Assisting with design tasks on civil projects and advancing your land planning and infrastructure knowledge
  • Working daily in Autodesk Civil 3D
  • Working in the field on some days collecting data or inspecting the work you designed
  • Supporting projects such as:
    • Commercial and residential site development
    • Utility projects for cities and counties

You’ll be working alongside experienced engineers and designers and will gain practical experience as your skills grow.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma required
  • Some college Engineering coursework or technical school training in a related field is preferred
  • Degree in Engineering a MAJOR plus resulting in higher compensation package
  • Field experience or prior work in surveying and engineering-related fields will be considered in place of formal education
  • Basic familiarity with civil drawings, plans, or construction concepts is a plus
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow professionally
  • Able to work full time in the office location

Office Location & Travel

  • Offices located in Greensboro, GA and Hinesville, GA
  • Some brief overnight travel may be required depending on which office you work in and project needs
