ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

Engineering Technician positions is responsible for maintaining and improving our production equipment in a just-in-time manufacturing environment. Also, will be responsible for assist with design and specification of equipment for all Android/Avancez facilities.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Assist program launch team members with process development.
  • Understand process flow from inbound material to outbound finished goods.
  • Use data from simulations to ensure processes run in most efficient manner.
  • Abide by company safety and housekeeping practices and procedures.
  • Support team members responsible for deploying equipment in the assembly environment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma; Associate Degree preferred (Engineering Technology or related discipline).

TRAVEL: 

  • Travel Required: Minimum

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to determine and recommend best solution from a variety of alternatives and carry out assignments to completion.
  • Strong attention to detail to provide accurate dimensions and easy-to-read layouts. 
  • Excellent follow through skills and time management.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations; have an acute understanding of formulas.
  • Strong verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related information.

  • Willingness to assist others with their duties.

  • Basic skills in using Microsoft Office Windows, Word, Excel, outlook, etc.

  • Ability to use personal protective equipment and follow safety guidelines.

  • Ability to maintain a neat and organized work area.
