An Engineering Technician 5 is a senior-level technical professional who supports engineers in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of various engineering projects. They often specialize in a particular field such as civil, mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering. At this level, they are expected to handle complex assignments, oversee the work of junior technicians, and ensure that project specifications and safety standards are met. Their responsibilities may also include troubleshooting issues, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders. Typically, an Engineering Technician 5 has several years of experience and advanced technical knowledge.
