MissionHires is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle delivery of large (100MW+) utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and wind EPC projects—overseeing engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. This strategic, high-visibility role owns schedule, budget, safety, quality, compliance, and stakeholder management to deliver high-impact, sustainable outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects (100MW+)
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource strategies
  • Direct cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
  • Maintain full financial oversight, cost control, and profitability optimization
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with effective contingency planning
  • Manage permitting, licensing, regulatory approvals, and ensure environmental/safety compliance
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, investors, communities, and partners
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility
  • Provide timely progress reports and updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of project management experience with 5+ years leading utility-scale renewable (solar, wind, or storage) EPC projects
  • Demonstrated success delivering large EPC projects on time and within budget
  • Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy technologies and construction best practices
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)
  • Deep understanding of permitting processes, regulatory compliance, and environmental impact requirements
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • PMP (or equivalent) highly preferred
  • Commitment to safety, quality, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to produce clear, timely status and financial reports for leadership
