As a high-growth firm, Wilson Engineers offers the opportunity to work on impactful and technically challenging projects alongside a talented and passionate team. We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer - Project Manager to join our team in our Reno or Minden, Nevada office. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages project development schedules and projections.
  • Manages project completion projections and team assignments. 
  • Primary liaison for project correspondence and coordination with consultants and building agencies. 
  • Oversees project record coordination and filing. 
  • Provides technical leadership and assistance to completion of production efforts. 
  • Participates in marketing efforts and presentations to potential new clients. 
  • Performs contract document production (drawing, specifications, cost estimates, etc.) and coordinates tasks of others assigned to the project. 
  • Provides technical research and knowledge to overall components of the project and develops specialized details. 
  • Performs building code analysis and coordinates overall compliance with various regulatory agencies. 
  • Performs QC reviews of both company and consultant documents. 
  • Coordinates submittal reviews and responses to construction RFI’s. 
  • Coordinates and attends construction observation site visits and inspections.
  • Maintains up-to-date understanding of current building codes, procedures, and regulations. 

Requirements
  • Civil Engineering Degree. 
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience. 
  • Can manage a staff. 
  • Proficient in reading and interpretation of construction drawings and specifications. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Understanding of CAD programs.
