Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Project Manager who can independently handle projects from pricing to execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in mechanical and plumbing scopes, including fab shop operations. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and process systems is highly valued, and a willingness to learn additional skills is encouraged. The role requires strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities to effectively manage and build projects.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage projects from initial pricing to final execution.
  • Estimate, price, and assemble estimates for complex systems like chilled water loops.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical and plumbing scopes, including fab shop operations.
  • Engage with HVAC, plumbing, and process systems, with a willingness to learn any additional required skills.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions and assist in project sales.
  • Quickly adapt to and learn company-specific software and processes.

Essential Skills

  • 8-10 years of experience in project management, especially in town projects.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Base Salary: Around $180,000. Bonus Potential: An additional $30,000 to $50,000, depending on capabilities. Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): Conservatively estimated at 10% to 12% of income, but often double that or more, providing significant retirement money. Car Allowance: Approximately $500 per month (tax-free reimbursement) and a fuel card. Sign-on Bonus: A relocation bonus or sign-on bonus is also possible, with amounts varying based on the candidate's strength, potentially up to $20,000 for exceptional candidates.
