The location in Bennettsville, (South Carolina, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Electrical Engineer. This job is full-time permanent.
Overview:
This position is part of the Engineering Department at the Marlboro Paper Mill in Bennettsville, SC. The Marlboro Mill produces approximately 900 tons of slush pulp/day, 800 tons/day of fine white paper, and approximately 300 tons/day of market pulp. The Engineering Department supports the mill through electrical and mechanical capital projects, maintenance initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts that drive operational excellence across the facility.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer looking to gain hands-on project experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment while building a long-term career with a stable industry leader.
Your challenges:
  • Partner with mill production departments to provide electrical engineering expertise and technical support
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage electrical engineering projects throughout the mill
  • Support capital and maintenance projects from planning through implementation
  • Manage project planning, prioritization, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
  • Assist with improvements related to electrical, power, and instrumentation systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve reliability and efficiency
  • Support continuous improvement and safe work practices across the facility
