As a global leader in manufacturing construction materials for the building envelope, we offer anchors and reinforcement, moisture protection, thermal performance, wall estimating software, and air barrier systems for commercial and residential masonry markets.
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage various projects for the Engineering Department. The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong communication skills, an articulate negotiator, and has the ability to work well under pressure with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and experience maintaining exceptional relationships with clients, management, and colleagues. The Project Manager serves as a liaison between Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and Installer to ensure on-time project deliverables.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Plans, Schedules, and Timelines through completion of individual projects
  • Proactively develop and maintain project information to be complete and coordinate needs with project teams
  • Reviews / updates project drawings as necessary
  • Coordinates product / shop drawings with manufacturing team
  • Communicates outsourced project needs with procurement
  • Monitors manufacturing progress against timeline requirements
  • Provides conceptual drawings / Revit models to Architect / Contractor based on consultation with Engineer
  • Holds consistently scheduled meeting with Sales team to update project information
  • Assists Finance / Sales team to coordinate project billing, assists in tracking project deposits and billable milestones
  • Prepare/update project status reports.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use our design and quote software including application of all project and design and management technology as required for assigned projects.
  • Work closely with internal and external Client user groups in coordinating their specific requirements relative to quote, design and project Engineer of Record submittals.
  • Attend Project Meetings as necessary
  • Perform additional projects, duties or assignments as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 1-2 years management experience preferably in engineering or construction management field
  • Associates degree or Trade Certification required with 3+ plus years of management experience preferably in engineering or construction management field
  • 2 years of experience managing projects
  • Proficient in drafting using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proficient in MS Products and Project Management systems
  • Excellent organizational and written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of construction systems and components
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks through various construction phases
  • Strong team working skills to collaborate across numerous departments
