Overview Leading medical technologies company looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelors degree with 4+ years of experience leading capital equipment, manufacturing, or engineering projects. Responsibilities โ€ข Lead multiple capital equipment and manufacturing projects through planning, execution, validation, and production launch. โ€ข Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies. โ€ข Drive alignment across engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, facilities, sourcing, and leadership teams. โ€ข Monitor project performance and proactively identify, communicate, and resolve risks, issues, and resource constraints. โ€ข Evaluate and authorize project changes that impact scope, schedule, cost, or technical strategy. โ€ข Manage equipment suppliers, contractors, and external partners throughout project execution. โ€ข Lead equipment design reviews, technical discussions, and project status reviews. โ€ข Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), equipment installation, and commissioning activities. โ€ข Hold vendors accountable to contractual obligations, deliverables, schedules, and performance expectations. โ€ข Coordinate development of User Requirements Specifications (URS), risk assessments, and project deliverables. โ€ข Partner with technical SMEs to ensure equipment designs meet manufacturing, quality, and operational requirements. โ€ข Support validation planning and execution, including FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, engineering studies, and process qualifications. โ€ข Facilitate change control activities and ensure project compliance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements. โ€ข Develop and manage capital expenditure requests (CERs), project budgets, and financial justifications. โ€ข Track project spending, forecast capital requirements, and identify opportunities to improve project return on investment. โ€ข Support long-term manufacturing strategy initiatives, insourcing efforts, automation programs, and capacity expansion projects.

Requirements โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, or related technical field. โ€ข Minimum 4+ years of experience leading capital equipment, manufacturing, or engineering projects. โ€ข Experience managing cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment. โ€ข Experience working with external equipment suppliers and contractors. โ€ข Strong project planning, risk management, and stakeholder management skills. โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience โ€ข Experience in regulated industries such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or aerospace. โ€ข Experience with capital equipment implementation and automation projects. โ€ข Knowledge of quality systems, change control, and validation methodologies. โ€ข Experience developing capital requests, business cases, and financial justifications. โ€ข PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
