Sr. Project Engineer

Reporting To: Project Executive/ Project Manager

Compensation: $75,000 - $120,000 / year

Description

Torcon is seeking Project Engineers with 5 to 8 years of experience in the construction industry. The Project Engineer will be responsible for evaluation of submittals and RFI’s to support construction activities and resolution of design/field issues. The Project Engineer must interact with field supervisors, owner representatives, and design professionals. Healthcare & pharmaceutical experience is highly recommended, as well as the ability to handle multiple project responsibilities and mentor less experienced engineers.

Qualified candidate will be able to reliably commute to the project sites in New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for evaluation of submittals and RFI’s
  2. Reviewing and processing change orders
  3. Support construction activities
  4. Resolution of design/field issues
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • Knowledge of major software packages (Microsoft, BIM 360)
  • Experience in project control
