Otter Products is hiring for a Manager, Technical Program Management - AI to lead our team in Fort Collins, CO. This role can work a hybrid schedule.
We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Technical Program Management - AI to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives. This people leader role will oversee a team of technical interns and cross-functional contributors, ensuring alignment between business strategy, technical innovation, and operational execution. The ideal candidate brings a blend of program management, change leadership, AI & technology understanding, and people management experience.

Responsibilities
  • Program Leadership & Strategy
    • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI programs, from ideation and prioritization through delivery and continuous improvement.
    • Partner with executive leadership to define AI strategy, roadmap, and measurable business outcomes.
    • Translate complex AI concepts into actionable program plans aligned with organizational goals.
    • Establish governance frameworks, success metrics, and reporting mechanisms across AI initiatives.
  • Program Execution & Delivery
    • Drive planning, scheduling, and execution of AI and technology initiatives.
    • Ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
    • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and operational challenges.
    • Implement scalable processes and best practices for AI program management.
  • AI Governance & Ethics
    • Support the responsible and ethical use of AI systems.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards.
    • Promote transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Directly manage and develop a team of interns and/or project leads.
    • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to drive team effectiveness and growth.
    • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
    • Allocate resources and prioritize work across multiple AI programs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with data science, information technology, engineering, marketing, product, finance, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to prioritize and drive business results.
    • Facilitate alignment between technical and non-technical teams.
    • Navigate ambiguity and drive decision-making across competing priorities.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in technical program management, including in data or AI-related environments, is required.
  • Previous experience in a mentor, supervisor, lead, or manager role is required.
  • Experience with AWS Bedrock, Microsoft Foundry, Google Gemini highly preferred.
  • Agile experience and certifications highly preferred.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience and/or certification is a plus.
  • PMP, CAPM, or CSM certification is a plus.
