Job Description:
Contribute build deliverables (schedule, build matrix, BOM, entry/exit criteria)
Coordinate and facilitate project calls with cross functional teams
Manage material sourcing and track lead times
Manage vendor quotes, PO processing, and payment follow-up
Manage prototype shipment (Tracking and serial numbering)
Track and drive closure of open issues of project during the development phase
Drive OEM partners
Required Skills:
BS/BA degree or equivalent
Minimum 5+ years in project management
Experience driving project development of highly engineered consumer goods
Technical experience with Soft Goods

Job Title: Prototype Development Engineer - Softgoods (High Priority)
Location: Boulder, CO
Rate: $100K (Only FTE)
Job Description:
- Prototype Engineering and creation
- Prototype process definition for small build quantities
- Initially support lead DE in hands-on fabrication tasks.
- Prepare materials and assemble components for production line.
- Load and unload WIP from tools.
- Load and unload tools from machines.
- Operation of specialized machinery that requires manual skills (ie. sewing machine)
- Provide process and tooling improvement feedback to DE.
Required Qualifications
- Designer or maker with prior hands-on fabrication experience.
- Knowledge of textiles, films, synthetics, leather, adhesives, etc.
- Team-oriented individual who is willing to contribute beyond defined responsibilities.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design preferred

Job Title: Product Design Engineer - Softgoods (High Priority)
Location: Boulder, CO
Rate: $100K (Only FTE)
Job Description:
- Analyze product geometry (CAD) from Product design team and i
- Collaborate with Design Engineer to develop tooling and fixture design concepts.
- Collaborate with Test Engineer to develop testing fixture.
- Design and create tooling / fixture CAD.
- Release CAD to the vendor.
- Collaborate with the vendor through the Design for Manufacturability (DFM) process.
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) upon receipt of the tooling.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in the design of tooling and molds (ie. injection moulding)
- Strong 3D and 2D CAD skills (NX, SolidWorks or ProE/Creo preferred)
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing principles.
- Team-oriented individual who is willing to contribute beyond defined responsibilities.
