Job description

We are looking for an Engineering Program Manager to join the Video Engineering EPM team to work on next generation video technology. The ideal candidate would have experience in product development and program/project/product management, proven leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with an amazing team to develop new technologies.
Description
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive, plan and track firmware and low-level software projects to support the technology development.
Build development schedule, identify critical paths, and drive project/program thorough execution.
Identify and highlight technical risk areas and mitigation strategies in partnership with Apple technologists.
Ensure continuous tight coordination and communication with engineering teams.
Synthesize and abstract large amounts of data into concise written and verbal analyses that provide key findings, recommendations and actionable items.
Preferred Qualifications
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field
5+ years of industry experience in program management
Understand and deals well with rapid changes, while remaining calm and flexible and in the face of uncertainty and/or ambiguity.
Excellent communication, presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills with a cross functional collaborative mindset.
Self-motivation with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities.
Experience in embedded firmware/software development and ML video processing with relevant hardware, firmware, software consumer product development experience.
Minimum Qualifications
BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field
Proven track record of program management experience taking a product through all the stages of development.
Hands on experience about AI in the workplace beyond just using LLMs.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
