Job description

Netsimco, a Saalex Company is seeking an Operations Specialist in Newport, RI. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $95k-$105k annually (depending on experience)
Work Location: Full-time onsite
Essential Functions:
  • Provides services for education and training of students in operational planning in a joint/maritime command center.
  • Provides instruction in the doctrine, missions, functions, tasks and processes that take place within a Maritime Operations Center (MOC).
  • Performs exercise design, scenario development and the execution of war games at the Operational Level of War, using procedures contained in NWP 5-01, NWP 3-32, NTTP 3-32.1, and JP 3-32.

Requirements
Education:
Master's Degree in Operations Research, National Security and Strategic Studies, International Relations, or related field, or graduate of Maritime Staff Operators Course. Other experience may be considered in lieu of a master's degree in the specified fields.
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
