Engineering Operations Specialist (Experienced)

BGS Commercial Modifications is seeking a proactive and results-driven Engineering Operations Specialist (Experienced) in Long Beach, California to support our BCA Engineering and leadership teams. We have a collaborative team culture that values initiative, clarity, and measurable results. In this role you will support BCA Engineering and leadership team with resource management and forecasting, presentation support and supporting business initiatives. You will work closely with our engineering, finance, and program management teams to build relationships and deliver results.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Capacity planning & forecasting for all levels of management, quarterly forecasts and long-range business support, financial data integration, and critical skills coordination with management.
  • Data analysis, employment and forecasting metrics support, leadership briefings, and database forecast management
  • Provide business financial support coordinating with Finance and Program Management.
  • Communicate and implement recommended resource and financial strategy

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ in Business Operations or other finance-related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience developing and leading business strategy

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Currently you possess a business-related degree such as: Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Strategy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functional projects, influence without authority, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
