The Electrical Engineering Co-op will complete electrical engineering-related tasks in support of the Engineering department in the development and production of magnetic products with a focus on transformers and inductors. The position will allow for exposure to the technology, test processes, and manufacturing environment at Standex Electronics and will aid in the professional development of the co-op.
What You'll Do
  • Learn the basics of transformer and inductor design.
  • Review customer inputs, generate design outputs, and perform component verification.
  • Assist with prototyping activities, complete bill of materials, and engineering drawings designs under supervision.
  • Perform hands-on testing, modeling, and analysis.
  • Partner with a team of multi-disciplinary engineers to collectively create/enhance tools for improved design accuracy.
