Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Maintenance Manager reports to the Director of Engineering and assists with hotel maintenance and protection, guest and associate satisfaction, as well as the financial performance of the department.
Know the White Lodging Way for Engineering, housekeeping, and food service operations
Ensure the hotel's maintenance and upkeep standards meet WL, Brand, and Guest standards
Proactively follow specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work in a safe and neat manner
Determine defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, take necessary corrective action, and record same following specific departmental procedures
Possess the ability to read and use blueprints, diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer's specifications
Responsible for maintaining key inventories and procedures in coordination with risk management
Additional responsibilities as determined by the Director of Engineering
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Understanding of blueprints, specifications, and operating instructions
A positive attitude and passion for doing things right the first time
Strong technical experience between schooling and equivalent work experience; previous leadership experience preferred
A focus on safety and customer service
Progressive experience in hospitality engineering or facilities management required
