ADVANCE YOUR CAREER. ADVANCE THE WORLD.
At AMD, we believe technology can change lives for the better. It can heal us, entertain us, and make us more connected, productive, and understanding of the world around us. And we're looking for talent who feel the same: people who want to leave the planet better than they found it, those who don't shy away from humanity's challenges but are determined to help solve them.
AMD is powering the next generation of supercomputing, high-performance computing, cloud, and AI. Whether you're designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or creating go-to-market plans, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger - technology that moves the world forward.
The Role:
In this leadership role you will be leading a team of 4-7 product engineers responsible for product engineering activities on an AMD Server product. The focus is on ensuring the delivery of optimized test points and product definitions across PVT (process voltage temperature) corners to meet business requirements. This includes driving debug and closure of all issues that arise post-silicon (process, yield, device).
The Person:
A self-starter who is passionate about leading-edge technology, being an inspiring leader and an excellent communicator who can engage with key partners at all levels to drive technical and strategic alignment. The ideal candidate will resolve ambiguity and adapt to changes in a dynamic and fast paced environment. We are looking for a compassionate leader who develops and strengthens the team's skillsets and invests time with the individual team member's career development and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing characterization and test coverage strategies
  • Establishing pre-silicon pattern requirements and driving Design Verification deliveries
  • Executing the defined characterization and test plans on new silicon
  • Driving yield and quality improvements & across wafer sort, final test, and SLT (system level test)
  • Driving product performance optimization, working across multiple domains including Product Engineering, Fab, Platform Validation and SW Engineering.
  • Responsible for ensuring the defined product meets customer (quality) & company (yield, test time, schedule) requirements

Preferred Experience:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate competency in or understanding of...
  • Statistical methods and tools for data analysis
  • Semiconductor process, packaging and test technologies
  • Semiconductor fabrication process optimization (direct experience in defining and validating a semiconductor device's performance preferred)
  • DFT features such as ATPG Scan, memory BIST, JTAG, and at speed testing
  • Product characterization and test point optimization

Academic Credentials:
B.S./M.S. in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field/experience
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
