Job description

Iteris is a leader in smart mobility infrastructure, combining advanced sensors, connected vehicle technology, and AI-powered analytics to improve roadway safety and efficiency for public agencies and commercial partners. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Document Control Clerk to support entry and modification of all types of engineering documentation into our Oracle ERP system. The role works closely with the manufacturing, materials and development teams.

What you will be doing:

  • Administer documentation control and maintain engineering records within Oracle
  • Generate Item Sequence Numbers (ISNs) and documentation numbers, ensuring accurate linkage to Bills of Material (BOMs) and data packages
  • Create, upload, and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) in Oracle
  • Organize, rename, and upload engineering documentation in compliance with document control standards
  • Upload and maintain engineering data packages and BOMs within the system
  • Support and administer change control processes
  • File, process, and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Associate’s degree in technical field, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Over five (5) years in a document control role
  • Over five (5) years of experience using Oracle or similar ERP system
  • Experience in an ISO-9001 or similar environment
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical devices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and be internal customer-facing
  • Attention to detail

Iteris anticipates paying an hourly rate between $28.50 and $31.75 for this role. Actual pay offered may be below or above these amounts, depending on the individual’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
