Job description

Design & Engineering Coordinator
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $30.00–$40.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time

TDL Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Design & Engineering Coordinator to support telecom engineering and design projects for a growing telecommunications company. Working closely with the Design & Engineering Manager, this role helps coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, update project tracking systems, and support multiple engineering and design projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience with telecom design, AutoCAD, and project coordination is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Design & Engineering Manager with daily operational and project-related activities
  • Maintain project tracking systems, Excel spreadsheets, and project status updates
  • Assist with project scheduling and identify potential delays or project issues
  • Coordinate with internal staff, contractors, and project teams regarding design activities
  • Make minor revisions to telecom design drawings using AutoCAD
  • Review telecom construction drawings, redlines, and design documentation
  • Utilize GIS and Bluebeam Revu for project review, markups, and tracking
  • Organize and maintain project files, documentation, and deliverables
  • Provide administrative and coordination support between departments as needed
Minimum Requirements
  • Previous experience in project coordination, engineering support, telecommunications, or a related field
  • Experience using AutoCAD
  • Experience with GIS software (ArcGIS preferred)
  • Experience using Bluebeam Revu
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Background screening is a part of the hiring process
Preferred Qualifications
  • Telecommunications industry experience
  • Basic understanding of telecom engineering, HFC, fiber, or utility design workflows
