The Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department at Cal Poly Pomona invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting Fall 2027.

Responsibilities: Teach core Industrial Engineering courses (e.g., Human Factors, Operations Research, Facility Planning, Lean Manufacturing), develop new coursework in Human-System Integration, and build a strong, externally funded research program.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field required by date of appointment.

Preference given to candidates specializing in human systems integration or applying Operations Research/computational methods to novel problems in this domain.
