What's the role?

The Engineering Intern will support engineering projects focused on process improvements, technical documentation, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience within a regulated medical technology manufacturing environment while allowing the intern to contribute to active business objectives and cross-functional projects.

The intern will work closely with engineering team members and functional stakeholders to develop technical skills, gain exposure to engineering processes, and support initiatives that improve operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance.

  • Support engineering projects and assigned workstreams.

  • Assist with engineering documentation, change control activities, and record maintenance.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze operational, manufacturing, and quality-related data.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

  • Assist in creating and updating work instructions, procedures, and training materials.

  • Support testing, validation, verification, and qualification activities as assigned.

  • Conduct technical research and benchmarking projects.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and project status updates for stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Attend team meetings and contribute to project discussions.

Do you qualify?

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering discipline.

  • Strong mechanical background with "hands on" experience is a plus. Comfortable to work in a high volume with intense pace environment.

Internship - Schedule & Duration

  • Program Duration: The assignment may continue for 3-6 months, based on business needs and performance.

  • Weekly Hours: 15-25 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate the candidate's class schedule.

  • Location: Local candidates only will be considered for this opportunity.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00.
