Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary:
The Sustainable Engineering Program is seeking a motivated graduate level student to serve as teaching assistant for the Fundamentals - Sustainable Engineering course (SUSE 7110) in the Fall 2026 semester and for Advanced LCA & Intro to Product Design (SUSE 8111) in the Spring 2027 semester.
Requirements:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Grade assignments and/or exams as needed
• Provide guidance to students as needed
• Assist faculty instructor as needed
• Provide feedback on student performance
Additional Information:
Student(s) will be working with Dr. Mary McRae, Assistant Teaching Professor, Sustainable Engineering. Minimal qualifications:
• Graduate level student
• Detail oriented
• Must be able to work independently
• Software skills of Excel, SimaPro and certain climate modeling sites
• Ability to use Brightspace
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information
