Software Development Engineering - Advisor
TITLE: Software Development Engineering - Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Serve as key leader and expert on development and engineering of new APIs. Implement API and services that extend platform features and functionality. Develop and manage containerized applications, orchestrate containers, and develop code and other proactive maintenance activities to keep the services up and running. Develop Developer Efficiency Tools to focus on freeing up development staff to focus on deliverables. Engineer new features and functionality for the Payment gateway platform. Engage with cross-functional co-located teams in design, development and implementation of enterprise-scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment monitoring and self-healing, and facilitate autonomous delivery teams.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving designing, developing and deploying enterprise-grade applications using Java and microservices. Prior experience must include: 4 years working in Java, GIT, JIRA, Maven, Confluence, Spring framework, and Spring Boot WebFlux; 3 years working in Agile methodology; 3 years working with Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Transactional and Spring Batch; 3 years using Spring integration with Redis and Data sources; 3 years creating unit test using Junit and Mockito; 3 years working with databases and code integrations including Oracle and PostgreSQL; 3 years implementing high volume transactions processing applications; 3 years working in AWS Cloud or Azure cloud platform; 3 years using Quality and Security scan tools including Sonar, Fortify and Web Inspect; and 3 years in Integration Testing APIs with Postman and JMeter.
