Responsibilities are typically assigned based on your background, skills, and the immediate needs of the project, allowing you to work alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams. You may find yourself designing solutions, conducting field assessments, or helping with hands-on implementation, depending on the organization and project scope. Volunteering in this role offers a chance to gain practical experience, make a tangible social impact, and expand your professional network.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the engineer volunteer position, and why are they important?
