About Crossroads
Crossroads Church is a growing multi-site, interdenominational church. Our sites are currently located in Ohio and Kentucky, with plans to expand to additional cities. We also have an online presence that serves thousands of people who aren't located near one of our physical sites.

Job Summary
This is to give a current college student hands on experience this summer. The Solution Engineers role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient organizational, systems in support of core organizational functions and processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of use cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define organizational, financial, and operational requirements and systems goals.
  • Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing processes, operations, and information process flow.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
  • Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
  • Provide orientation and training to users for all modified and new systems.
  • Provide end user support and direction for technology issues.

Education Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree, an associate degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience.

Skills/Experience Requirements
  • Light project managemnet
  • Mac hardware management
  • Core understanding of identity and access management in information systems
  • Ability to breakdown and troubleshoot complex technical/digital issues
  • Ability to work well within a team and a self starter

Physical Requirements
  • This role will need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and work from an 8 foot ladder.

Schedule/Travel Requirements
  • Typically 9a-5p M-F with the exception of occasional assistance on shoots or mandatory "all-hands on deck" weekends i.e. Easter, Super Bowl, Christmas, etc.
