Job description

TOTH is currently seeking candidates for aCivil Engineer to join ourCivil Engineering Department. This position will include project management and design responsibilities for various civil engineering projects including but not limited to site development, stormwater management, wastewater systems, potable water systems, and transportation. Responsibilities will consist of overall management of projects from design through construction administration and will include the supervision and coordination of design team personnel and resources.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Interact with clients and professionally representing the firm.
  • Monitor/control active projects to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Mentor and direct staff on technical assignments, and reviewing technical work completed by engineers under supervision.
  • Travel to project locations typically within a 200-mile radius.
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2+ years of engineering experience
  • EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Strong organizational and communications skills
  • Experience with engineering consulting
  • Experience with local, state, and federal regulatory permitting processes
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD software
  • Familiarity with common civil engineering design software
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on projects from conceptual design through construction
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
