To thrive as a Commission Engineer, you need a solid background in electrical or mechanical engineering, problem-solving abilities, and often a relevant engineering degree or certification. Familiarity with commissioning software, control systems (such as PLCs and SCADA), and project management tools is typically required. Strong communication, attention to detail, and adaptability are essential soft skills for coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
