Job description

Wilson & Company's Midwest Team is seeking a Roadway professional with experience in the design of transportation infrastructure, notably streets, highways, and interstates.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform roadway design and modeling utilizingOpen Roads Designer
  • Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes
  • Work with experienced designers and project managers, as well as collaborating with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects
  • Primarily working on projects in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska with opportunities to support regional projects
  • Efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.


Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Missouri, Nebraska, or Kansas Professional Engineer licensedor the abilityto obtain within 6 months.
  • 4 - 7 years' experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations.
  • Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
  • A background in traffic engineering design and H&H design can be helpful in this role
  • Experience in CADD utilizing Open Roads Designer

Annual Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000
