In the role of Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Operations and Reliability teams to develop and implement strategic maintenance plans for the plant. You will be responsible for defining and driving a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure optimal plant performance, asset reliability, and operational continuity.
The role includes identifying upcoming maintenance projects, major equipment repairs and replacements, and developing detailed scopes of work for significant maintenance activities to support safe, efficient, and sustainable plant operations.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Identifies, recommends and implements equipment repairs of stationery and rotating equipment by working with manufacturers, OEM and outside repair shops.
  • Develops standard new equipment specifications and repair procedures for equipment in critical applications
  • Manages in the design, procurement and installation of new equipment. May develop plant-wide Standard Operating Procedures for process and equipment operation.
  • Implements maintenance expense/L1 capital improvement projects and maintaining and publishing schedule for strategic maintenance projects
  • Supervises major equipment repairs and modifications. Provides direction and recommendations for equipment modifications and upgrades to improve plant performance.
  • Supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Careยฎ Management System in line with the requirements of the RC14001ยฎ technical specification, as applicable to the site/region.

  • Knowledge in areas such as Safe Work Practices, Confined Space Entry, LT&T, hot work, and other permitting processes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge/background in welding processes
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment design and repair
  • Expert knowledge of equipment lubrication
  • Knowledge of ASME codes

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor/University degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in an appropriate manufacturing environment.
