In addition to mass toxic torts, the firm also offers legal services concerning commercial disputes and liability-related defense.

Maron Marvel has an immediate opening for a Legal Billing Specialist to join our team in its Wilmington office. The candidate must possess excellent communication, problem‑solving and time management skills.

DUTIES
  • Responsible for firm legal billing including working with external electronic billing applications.
  • Apply and edit time entries; finalize and distribute billings.
  • Monitor and maintain firm client databases.
  • Monitor and quality control of firm billing and firm conflict checks.
  • Prepare accountings of client accounts for attorneys.
  • Research client billing inquiries and respond to them.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on trends in firm costs.
  • Assist Accounting Department with special projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal billing experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good problem‑solving and time‑management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Preferred to be experienced using legal software such as Aderant, 3E, Surepoint.
