Description

As part of our growth strategy, Albireo Energy is currently searching for an energy procurement Account Executive to become an integral part of the aggressive expansion of our business. The successful candidate will have experience crafting procurement strategies for electricity and natural gas alongside additional products such as demand response and RECs .

The successful candidate will have a proven track record account origination, a disciplined approach to account management, and will be prepared to excel in a high performing team environment.

This role is Hybrid within the Natick area, with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • A proven sales record within the deregulated energy markets of electricity and natural gas.
  • A systematic approach for developing and maintaining relationships with large, sophisticated clients alongside managing midsized clients.
  • Expanding relationships with established client base.
  • Set meetings with customers, identify opportunities, sell Albireo Energy’s capabilities.
  • Preparing personalized slide decks which communicate our value proposition.
  • Working knowledge of the variety of available products as well as the pricing components in various markets.
  • Negotiate final pricing and scope of work with contractors and end users.
  • Partner with our Customer Service team, Pricing team and Analytics team to provide necessary services to clients.
  • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner, within budget.
  • Provide consultative services to clients for all of their energy needs.
  • Engage with clients on a regular basis to maintain relationship.
  • Attend sales meetings and training seminars.
  • Track sales activities and forecast opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 10+ years of sales experience in energy procurement

The initial base salary range for this position is $100K-$125K/. The total compensation package includes eligibility for uncapped commissions.
