Energy Engineer
Santa Clara, CA Hybrid

Job Description:
Executing energy audits, recommissioning, and HVAC system assessments for existing buildings 
Creating energy conservation measures (ECMs) and analyzing energy savings.
Creating (or already have developed) engineering calculations in spreadsheets for energy savings analysis.
Developing new methods for improving energy calculation templates to increase efficiency and accuracy
Outreach; work directly with customers/contractors to promote the program.
Manage a contractor network to support their efforts to promote the program.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. A graduate with specialization in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred.
In addition, 5+ years of progressive experience in the energy, utility and/or efficiency industry required.
Excellent written and verbal English skills as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications are also required.
Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical groups, attention to details, superior organization skills, and successful experience developing and implementing functional processes are necessary.
Experience in energy efficiency program implementation or energy related markets
Experience with new energy technology concepts, practices, and procedures are preferred.
Specific experience in energy management in a commercial or industrial setting
