Responsibilities

   Assist with research, data gathering, and organizational efforts supporting the Government Affairs Department. 

   Develop an understanding of each district's unique utilization of consultants.

   Maintain and organize consultant agreement, reports, and related documentation within a centralized repository.

   Review consultant agreements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and current applicability.

   Contribute to the development and maintenance of the master consultant PowerPoint resource, creating a centralized reference for consultant engagement across all districts.

   Analyze consultant scopes of work to clearly document services provided and areas of expertise.

   Collaborate closely with the Research and Administrative Assistant to ensure effective communication, coordination, and project support.

Qualifications

   Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Government, Political Science, or similar
   Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative 
   Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time 
   Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity 
   Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt 
   Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 
   Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives 
   Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
