Job Summary:
Burcham Hills is an upscale senior living retirement community located in East Lansing, MI. They are seeking an IT System Administrator responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and support of their enterprise technology and networking infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Administer Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory services.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers.
• Server lifecycle management
• DNZ zone management
• DHCP scope administration
• Deploy and maintain Windows and macOS devices.
• Manage endpoint security platforms including Sophos Central.
• Encryption management (Bitlocker/FileVault)
• Utilize Automox for operating system and third-party application patch management.
• Support Cisco Meraki switching, wireless, firewalls, and VPN infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
• Create, modify, and disable user accounts.
• Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Maintain role-based access controls.
• Support secure onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Implementing cybersecurity best practices.
• Applying security patches.
• Responding to security incidents.
